JOSEPH M. GICHURU.

Joseph has over 15years of work experience in life sciences industry that includes working on the bench as a medical laboratory technologist in a level five hospital,

a research assistant supporting TB clinical trial, a laboratory quality assurance officer at KEMRI-CGHR, a country laboratory manager to an acting programs director for a US-CDC funded project in Liberia.

He currently supports clinical trials laboratory operations at KEMRI-CCR as a senior laboratory analyst and also a junior research Fellow at KAVI-ICR University of Nairobi researching on mucosal immunology and metabolomics.

Joseph’s strengths lie in laboratory quality management systems implementation and strengthening, laboratory diagnostics in routine microscopy and point of care\ testing, microbiology cultures, immunology (ELISA and Flowcytometry), molecular biology and clinical chemistry.

Joseph’s goal is to propel Biostrength Kenya Limited to become a dependable partner in implementing laboratory system strengthening programs in Kenya and beyond.
